Because our crumb cakes are made with real butter and no fillers or shortcuts, they’re incredibly tender. Cutting from the top can sometimes compress the cake—this isn’t a flaw in quality, it’s actually a sign of the real ingredients at work.

For best results, we recommend this method:

  1. Remove the crumb cake from the pan. 
  2. Flip it upside down. 
  3. Slice it however you like. 
  4. Flip it back into the pan or place on a serving tray.
  5. Enjoy! 

Pro tip: For the cleanest cuts, slice the cake while it’s frozen. The cake will be sturdier and easier to portion—just place it back in the pan afterward and let it come to temperature.


If you’re not planning to enjoy your crumb cake right away—or are saving it for a special occasion—you can freeze it just as it is. It keeps beautifully in the freezer for an extended time. When you’re ready to enjoy, simply take it out the night before and let it thaw at room temperature. If you have any left over, simply put wrap in plastic wrap and re-freeze.

We take extensive measures to ensure the safety and quality of our gluten-free offerings. Our process includes:


  • Dedicated Production Order: Gluten-free items are always prepared and baked before any regular wheat products.
  • Thorough Sanitation: All surfaces and equipment are fully cleaned and tested prior to gluten-free production.
  • Single-Use Baking Vessels: Each gluten-free crumb cake is baked in its own vessel; pans are never reused.
  • Immediate Sealing: Products are sealed as soon as they have cooled to protect against environmental exposure.
  • Strict Testing Standards: We set a maximum gluten threshold of 5 PPM, significantly below the government standard of 20 PPM for gluten-free certification.


Important Note for Celiac: Although we follow rigorous protocols, our gluten-free products are produced in a facility where wheat is present.
